 My child wants attention

My middle son who is five had an accident. He cut his pinkie, really bad. We ended up having to run to the emergency room and he needed stitches. Luckily his finger wasn’t broken. When our oldest turned 12, she received a cell phone for her birthday. Wow, a cell phone at 12. I was in my mid 20’s before I had my first cell phone. Anyway, I digress. It wasn’t anything spectacular, an LG slider phone.
