“Mommy, I hope that one day you can get enough sleep at night.” When Emma said that to me today, it really made me think. My first reaction was to laugh because over the years it’s sort of become a running joke that Mommy is always tired…she  always needs a coffee…she sometimes falls asleep on the couch during the day.

One thing I haven’t been able to get past though are comments from people in the medical profession. You would think that they, of all people, would have a tad bit more compassion and knowledge about this disease. Sometimes they do….but a lot of times they don’t…and that is what I would like to touch on today.
