I always have this fear that I am the bad cop. I think this is because I am around my child more so I discipline them more than my husband. My husband is also away more since he is in the army. I fear my children are liking one parent more. They like my husband more because he is the fun guy.

My three children still don’t comprehend what mommy has. I think it is because I don’t have massive seizures. I am thankful for that. This past week I have had more smaller ones than normal and have been a little more tired. I have to explain why I can’t play. It’s heartbreaking. Last night my son wanted me to go jump on the trampoline and I was so tired and I said I just couldn’t.

My middle son who is five had an accident. He cut his pinkie, really bad. We ended up having to run to the emergency room and he needed stitches. Luckily his finger wasn’t broken. We came home and went to bed at 2am. The next morning my oldest, who is 8, was on the computer playing a game, and the 5 year old wanted to play. We told the 8 year old to get off so the 5 year old could play. The 8 year old got VERY upset.

I have recently started a business from home. It has been quite the hassle. I thought it would be simple, but it isn’t. Since it is photography, I have to do a lot of work on my computer. I feel as parents we want to try and teach our children about giving. No matter who you are or what your beliefs are, there is a point, you want them to understand this concept. It can be a hard thing to teach a child. Especially depending on the child. Parenting isn’t always about just telling your kids  what is right or wrong. It is mostly about doing what is right or wrong. That sounds easy, but it isn’t.

A few months ago I started having seizures. I didn’t know what was going on. They weren’t the obvious kind. They were simple to complex partial seizures and they were more deja vu than anything else. So I went to the doctor because at the time I thought I was crazy. I wanted it fixed. I was scared. I was also studying to be n OR assistant. Well when the doctors told me I was in fact having seizures I thought, “Okay, you are the crazy ones!”
